The newest College Wrestling 27 update lets you build a legacy from three sides of the sport: compete as a wrestler, lead a program as a coach, or run the FWL as its promoter.
Run the FWL in Promoter Mode
Take over the front office, sign talent, negotiate contracts, build fight cards, select venues, set prices, hire staff, pursue sponsors, and manage the league’s finances. Every week asks you to balance the roster, the audience, and the future of the promotion.
Rewrite decisions with Time Machine
Wrestler, Coach, and Promoter careers each have their own Time Machine. Return to a major commitment, signing, job, season, venue, or business decision and take a different path without restarting the entire career.
Build your own world with Promoter Sandbox
Adjust league cash, purses, champions, contract dates, and starting scenarios. Sandbox careers remain clearly marked, and every edit is recorded so the world always shows how it changed.
Women’s wrestling
Create a women’s wrestler or coach a women’s program with dedicated weight classes, rankings, postseason competition, and college freestyle rules.
Featured wrestlers and mastery
The expanding featured roster is now presented across the game and website. Compete with featured athletes in Quick Play and build wrestler-specific mastery progression.
Deeper matches and careers
Live exchanges, counters, scrambles, pins, objectives, the scorebug, and post-match breakdowns keep more of the bout in your hands. Recruiting, NIL, the transfer portal, staff, facilities, finances, life choices, records, and trophies continue to shape the long game.
